Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2026

1. Information We Collect

When you use our service, we temporarily process the images you upload for background removal. We do not store your images on any server. Images are processed in memory and immediately discarded after the result is returned to you.

We also collect minimal technical data including:

  • Your IP address (used for rate limiting only)
  • Browser type and version
  • General location data (country/region level)

2. How Your Images Are Handled

This is our most important commitment: your images are never saved, backed up, or stored anywhere. Here's what happens when you upload an image:

  1. You upload an image from your browser to our edge server (Cloudflare Worker)
  2. The worker forwards it to Remove.bg's AI processing engine
  3. Remove.bg returns the transparent PNG result
  4. The result is sent back to your browser for download or display
  5. All temporary memory is cleared — the original and result images no longer exist anywhere

3. Third-Party Services

Our background removal is powered by Remove.bg's API. Images sent to Remove.bg are subject to their privacy policy. According to their terms, they do not store uploaded images beyond the time needed for processing.

4. Cookies & Tracking

We do not use tracking cookies or any third-party analytics that track individual users. Our site uses only essential cookies required for basic functionality (such as remembering UI preferences).

5. Data Security

All communication between your browser and our servers is encrypted using TLS 1.3. Our infrastructure runs on Cloudflare's global network with enterprise-grade DDoS protection.

6. Children's Privacy

Our service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
